In Friendship with the Villages
In our growing friendship with the Yawanawá, we witness both the quiet strength and the rawness of life in the forest.
Things often need fixing or replacing, a boat motor, a roof, a pair of Rain boots, These requests arise naturally, through friendship, through presence, and through the care that grows over time.
Through Naraya, we try to respond where we can. Every donation goes straight into these relationships, into things that matter in daily life. Simple, practical support, carried with care.
We are a small circle, and every step we take is guided by respect and real connection.

Building Homes – Shuhu
A home is more than A shelter it is a place of spirit, stories, and belonging.
This project supports the construction of traditional houses in the Yawanawá villages, rooted in ancestral knowledge and built with love and care for future generations.

Sacred Language – Pano
The Yawanawá language carries the wisdom of generations, songs, prayers, dreams, and the quiet codes of a forest-born way of life. We are in conversation with elders, families, and youth about ways to preserve and pass on this sacred voice, through study circles, intergenerational exchange, and the vision of creating spaces where Yawanawá children can grow up with the strength of their mother tongue. We walk as students, listening, offering support where it is welcome. Every gift helps create the conditions for this language to remain alive, spoken, and strong in the hearts of the next generation.

In the rhythm of forest life, survival often comes first, food, shelter, ceremony, community. Dogs are part of this world too, moving freely through the villages, sometimes cared for with love, sometimes simply coexisting at the edge of attention.This is not about fixing, or imposing standards from another world. It is about small gestures of kindness, offered with humility. As part of our ongoing relationship, we bring high-quality beads and materials that are not easily available in the village, small offerings that nourish the creative process and strengthen the bridge of exchange.
