“Naraya is an ancient word — a prayer in motion, a sacred rhythm that remembers the unity of all life. It speaks of the dance between worlds, of spirit made visible, of life lived in harmony with the Earth and one another.”
Naraya is a non-profit organization devoted to the protection, honoring, and celebration of Indigenous cultures and spiritual traditions, particularly in close relationship with the Yawanawá people of Acre, Brazil.
We are here to build bridges between ancestral wisdom and the modern world, between Indigenous voices and global awareness, and between the deep remembering within each of us and the living Earth we share.
Rooted in reciprocity, our work supports Indigenous communities in preserving their cultures, protecting their lands, and sustaining their lives with dignity. At the same time, we create pathways for Western communities to reconnect with natural, holistic, and spirit-centered ways of living guided by traditional knowledge, earth-based rituals, and shared human values.
Naraya offers:
– Educational and cultural programs
– Sacred song and prayer spaces
– Ceremonial and intercultural gatherings
– Artistic collaborations and community events
– Ethical support, advocacy and sustainability projects
All our offerings are shaped by the values of reverence, humility, beauty, and belonging. We believe in a future woven from the wisdom of the past. a future where Indigenous traditions are honored, not forgotten; where nature is protected, not exploited; and where people live in harmony with themselves, each other, and the Earth.
This is not just our mission, it is our prayer.
A prayer for the Earth.
A prayer for the ancestors.
A prayer for the ones yet to come.
About the Founders
Naraya was born from the heart of a prayer, carried by souls deeply devoted to the path of remembrance, healing, and service.
The vision is held by Anusche, Elisa and a circle of allies, individuals walking in respectful relationship with Indigenous elders and communities, especially the Yawanawá. Through years of study, friendship, ceremony, and listening, a seed was planted: to create a space where sacred traditions could be protected, shared with integrity, and met with reverence.
Our work is rooted in gratitude, guided by spirit, and nourished by the dream of a more connected, peaceful, and awakened world.
